hi just wanted to ask that I donthave golijanpatho If I only listen to KAplan patho for step 2 will it be enuff
even dont know if I get time to do it or not but if I managed to have time for it is it worth ot listen patho kaplan without reading anything for those whop have not done step 1 before ??
plz reply Iam getting short of time

hi shumaila,
i have just passed my step1 and started studying for step2 ck from today .well i have a feww things to say and feww things to ask . let me tell kaplan pathology is not sufficient for step 1 .i have experianced it in my exam i did goljan as well so it helped me alot but lkaplan pathology is not suuficient .use brs pathology if u r runnign short of time . i wanted to ask u y have u decided to take step 1 before step 2 ck i dont understand y people tend to take step 2 ck before step 1 . well i studied for step 1 almost 7 month. i got good score but i must say step 1 was v tough exam .there were many reserch questions which were v difficult for me to answer. i found step 1 v hard exam i dont no y . next thing is that for how long u have been preparing for step 2 .and where ru from i m from pakistan . when ru taking ur step 2 ck . i hope u ll give me feww good suggestion . wish u good luck for the exam .looking forward to ur answer

sorry there r few mistakes which i made . i have studied kaplan pathology for step 1 and i found it insufficient .so it must b insufficient for step 2 ck also and next thing is that y have u decided to take ste 2 ck before step 1

sorry but have to say something..she has only 15 days in exam and u r askin her why she decided?? plz encourage her not discourage..this is hard time for her..bye the way im preparin for step 2 also..and did,t go thru the step 1..im listenin goljan audio..and also will finish the goljan patholgy book...
shumaila..i think..if u have some time..listen the audio lectures from goljan..if u dont have go to e bay and u can get it right a way for few $..and also u can ask from the forum if they have those lectures..and can send it to u..and dont worry..u,ll go thru it confidently..im plannin to do pathology mcqs from patholgy q book also..so what ever u feel easy..

n saeedkhan Iam slo from pakistan the reason gor giving step2 before is that Iam a fresh graduate any way rt now it is not time to debate when to give any step even in pakistan there ar e many ppl who gave step2 first and if y see mail in forum there r many ppl who gave step 2 first and scored in 90s

thanks for every thing , i didnt want to discourage aany one nor i want to offend any one . i didint kow her exam is so close best of luck for the exam i hae dr goljan notes and lectures if u want any help from me i m available but i think u shd not listen to dr goljan step 1 lectures coz they r v lenthy . u cant finish listening to them its better that u shd do more and more mcqs . well have dr goljan step 2 lectures as well. if u need them i can send them to u . well sheezo when r planingh to take step 2 let me no may b we can plan and take step 2 together . best of luck to both of u

it wasa my first day of study . just studied for 3 hrs only . inshalah ill try to study atlleast 6 hr tomorow. how many times have u done kaplan lectures dvd .ill try to take my exam in nov end or early dec inshalah

BRS AND Goljan perfect for Step 1. Step 2 goljan's notes. And great if you just graduated and doing Step 2. it will make a world of a difference.

i think goljan has a more clinically oriented approach. i d advise doing both his step 1 and 2 audio its easy listening so its doable.
