hi,am hoping either of u or anyone could advise me. i've shadowed a physician who works as an attending in a community hospital and also i rounded with him in some of the nursing homes he visits.now for the lor can i mention that i did an observership in that community hospital coz the doc who i rounded with is ready to give me an lor saying that i did an observership in that hospital.is it ok to get a letter saying that?or is it kind of wrong to do so? or should i just get a letter saying i have shadowed him and did not do an observership. i had no contact with the internal medicine dept of the hospital.my only contact was the doctor i mentioned.most of the time i was in his clinic and occasionally went along with him to this community hospital. plzzz could u reply asap as the time to send the lors is running out.

arre baba - he is writing for an oship why do u want to get shadowing written down? get the stuff written down as he wants. however in ur caf just say u rounded with him in community program and attended his outpatient clinics. what the lor writer writes is his business. ur not doin anythin wrong. atleast this is my view point. hope some1 else has somethin to add..

Shadowing is almost the same thing. Think about it, in an observership, you can't touch patients.
