prep4usmle thanku.. just read the link. if possible plz increase the max no of pms for NON LEADERS to 10/day. bcos we have to wait for 3months to become a leader. by that time we will be completing one exam and cant get the full benefits of this site.
PLEASE consider this

Docsrinu, here are some options you can do to talk in private with other members:
- use instant messages: look on the topics next username, if you see a green dot click on the username and on profile see the IM option. Also in the options add some buddies and next time you can open it and see who's online.
- send emails: ask a member to change his profile option and accept emails from other users.This feature is turned off by default because of spam issues.
The restriction for PMs is because they are hard to delete from database. IMs are deleted once they are read by both members and emails are easy to delete from admin database. However, PMs need to be read and deleted by both sender and receiver.
You can also join the premium members and therefore get more priviledges using our forums, including more PMs.
