if u already took the exam please reply
if u can go back in time 2 medical school what would u do differently? ..I mean regarding studing strategy or so..
would u advise med student of using first aid or kaplan notes along with there classes
please give me information as much as possible
i appreciate all the posts

If u were still in medical school, i recommend you use the textbooks( like guytons, harper, snell) and study them well so you can get you foundation right which will help you in the coming years. Kaplan is only use for review for USMLE. In my school(im a IMG), you will not pass if you use on kaplan and first aid.

what i mean is that sometimes u underestimate so many topics but if knew that they r high yield u will b more carefull and such things are what found in review books & i heared from a student how took the boards that it is better 2 start & b familiar with such books while in medschool what do think guys?

You really shouldn't try to look for 'high-yield' topics/subjects while you're IN med school. You should try to take in AS MUCH AS YOU CAN from all topics/sub-topics...

Leave the high-yields & BRS's for after you finish your basic sciences.

I do however recommend getting familiary with First Aid, and starting to take notes in first aid, while you are in med school.
