I was wondering if you could weigh in on this for me...I shadowed a family practitioner here in the US in 2003/2004.I was introduced to him by relatives(he's been their family physician for a while now).He wrote a LOR for me a while back.....its a good letter over all and in it he mentions that he has "known members of cyra's family for about 10 yrs".I am not sure if I am being overly cautious here or not... do you think that this particular statement might not sit well with some people.I'd appreciate your input on this.

Thankyou aajkal. He did tell me to contact him again for a new letter once I was ready to apply for residency...I'll see what bbb has to say and then perhaps ask him to edit the letter.

No answer because I don't know. I have seen that in letters in the past, but I can't answer if it's good or bad. What does your head say?
