apply next match with a beefed up cv and usce in ob and all steps given. dude ur a fresh grad with a decent s1 score and no visa issues. ppl have gotten into their progs with way worse.

I heared that Obs/Gyn is of low competitivity, & easy to get
at least apply this year to prelim positions, if no additional cost, I see U apply for both

obgyn is an integ 4yr course with no prelim. do correct me if im mistaken..

it also depends on how soon u can get ur s2 result. and most imp factor acc2 a senior of mine doin maimonides ob is prior experience or usce - they give a much better edge over scores.

do apply this time and dont feel insecure just bcoz u feel u dont have a 90. but apply selectively to progs that dont sponsor a visa. i replied earlier under the impression that u were not applyin this yr. sorry for my misconception- it was late. glsmiling face

There are a few scattered programs which do offer yr1 prelim position-but they are rare. Most are 4 yr categorical ones.Sunshine-you can go ahead and apply this year-some programs do like freshies! Donot sweat though if you will have to apply again because you can "beef up"smiling face your CV and will have a lot to talk about in interviews. You have your grad year on your side.Meanwhile GL for CK.
