I am seeking opinion from knowledgable members of this forum regarding from where should I appear for my step 1.I plan to be in USA in nov 2006 on H4 visa and by then I would be in the middle of my second reading for step 1(self studying).I intend joining preparation classes, may be at some kaplan centre ,for the final preparation before i appear around feb 2007.I am in a quandary as to how good are the facilities for coaching in or around cedar rapids ,iowa for such preparation and whetehr I shd be appearing in India or in the US itself.Kindly send your feedback at the earliest as I would be applying for the test quite soon based upon inputs that i receive.
