What is the extent of extravasation of urine in case of rapture of the membranous part of the urethra in males? Also, can anyone help argue out why the urogenital diaphragm is not a really a diaphragm?

superficial perineal pouch. Is it because the muscles of the urogenital region do not really form a diaphragmatic sheet, but extend through the visceral outlet into the lower reaches of the pelvic cavity?
