i dnt know i met some PD and he said that so i thought i will take a help from you guys about that ......he said he has to apply for H1 as he will give me some research job........so how people work on research job there???

I know about J reseach visa, niether research nor prelim positions sponser H1 visa (which is for skillful workers, for migratory or non migratory intent)

i dnt know thats what he said to me that he will apply H1.i dnt know anyhthing about us visa system and i am just going through this website ........he told me that he has to apply for this visa....can some one tell us who is already doing research in us what sort of visa he is having??

No one must have an answer for you. I can't help, because I haven't heard of this. Check with an immigration attorney.
