Hi!!

I wanted to thank everyone who has helped me out with the NBME questions for this topic. But I still have some questions that were are unanswered and my exam is in 2 weeks! sad Can you please help me out with them? I wanted to understand also why it is the correct answer and I have been having trouble finding the reasoning behind these particular questions..

45[- Case-fatality rate[- the percentage of persons diagnosed as having a specified disease who die as a result of that illness within a given period; so the fatality is 1/12.
6. E Incidence rate— number of new cases of a specified disease diagnosed during a defined period of time, divided by the number of persons in a stated population in which the cases occurred. If you don't have the no. of the alcool related colisions for the last year you can not calculate.
