Hello,

I am in a dilemma, i have been preparing for step 2 CK for past few months. I enrolled in Kaplan center course. I feel it is not adequate there are certain instances where i felt i did not get a concept right, but not much information is given in the tape. I like to staop right now and want to review my study plan. I want to get the basics right, i have access to a good library. If someone can take sometime to provide me the right books for clearing the concepts, i can have them as a reference while studying my kaplan notes. I am having concept issues in all of the subjects.

I would appreciate if anyone can provide me a sense of direction for me, please..

Hi Vemi,

If you are searching for a reference material, Harrison's Text book of Internal medicine has everything except, for may be surgery for which u may look into Bailey & Love.

vemi cud u please mention if ure done with step 1 or not..if u havent do try and go thru goljan audio..both for step 1 and 2. do post ur difficulties and we'll be able to help u further...harrison's is a good book but may be too detailed for step1...ive made the mistake of going thru loads of sources. if u mention what aspects bother u, i feel it wud be better reading those up from recommended sources rather than aiming to review 2 entire books ( med and surgery)

good luck smiling face
