36-B I'm not sure about this one.

g as it points towards the platelet. id vote for B too as sympathetics control sweating. hence a disruption in hteir fx cud lead to dry feet.

36- D : these are classic signs of "inflammation" - HOT, PINK (Ruber, Dolor, Color, Tumor, functio lazie)

there is a so-called "Axonal reflex" when skin of a part of body is injured , the Nociceptors (pain receptors) become activated and release locally all kinds of inflammatory substances such as Histamin, subs. p, Bradykinin, neuropeptide etc. which cause vasodialtion, pain and edema. it is true that later on, immune system wakes up and makes things worse. but this is the initial response to skin injury.

Sympathetic fiber also can control cutaneous vasodilation (mainly for the purpose of thermoregulation) but if ANS is activated ,i think the picture is more general than just a foot. it`s the whole body that loses heat.

here is the idea : (sorry i couldn`t find any english pictures)

why cant it be C? parasympathetic innervate sweat glands, and lack of it might be causing the drying skin? i dont understand why its B.

  #8

u got it wrong amit. sweat glands r innervated by sympathetic but the transmitter involved is Ach.

  #9

I'll vote for D.
