hi everybody is there is something called: COUPLE MATCH ? I was wandering if me & my wife applying for the match , how to ensure we'll B accepted within the same state !!!

couple's match is for any two people wishing to be placed together; eg married couples...you have to apply to the same programmes...enter couple's match in nrmp...even if you are of two different specialities...they take you together...apparently a happy resident is a good worker...it works...my boss was im/peds and his wife was obgyn, they went to cincinnati...so i say go for it!

I matched with two couples this year both in IM, and then one couple with one person in ER and one in IM. It works, residents are happy. It's a good thing. http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/22622

is it harder to get chances? I'm going for surgery, even without step2 scores, seem I'll match in prelim this year, & do couple match next year

Couples match works for to applicants to the same specialty at the same hospital?

Even in different specialties, we've had partners/spouses in different programs.
