What are the two cardioprotective defects that can often be associated with tetralogy of Fallot and must be associated with Transposition in order for the patient to live?

  #2

one is VSD and :icon_scratch: iam trying to remember....will check it out

  #3

VSD is actually part of Tetralogy and is not cardioprotective.

  #4

what a mistake

  #5

ASD and patent ductus

  #6

the way i remember is that these are the two most benign congenital heart defects, so they are the most helpful if you have a different defect.
