Hello All,
I have Visa appointment scheduled on Sep 3 to visit U.S for taking step 2 cs.So far,I have not recieved any kind of letter from ECFMG stating my appointment with them for step 2 CS. Can you please let me know if this is essential?Should I press ECFMG to send me the letter ASAP.Any of u Plzz help me with this.Thanks

Call ECFMG and enquire about the letter.Ask them to resend it stating the purpose (for visa approval).They might send u a copy again.Did u get a scheduling permit??Did u make a copy of the webpage when u scheduled your exam.I am not sure if the ECFMG sends any kind of confirmation letter.I think the copy of the webpage showing your confirmation is enough.I dont remember about that as it has been more than a year since I completed my CS

Hello skdoc,
I did call up the ECFMG and a pleasant lady has faxed me a copy of my appointment letter.I have with me the saved copy of CS scheduling permit.I think both of these should be sufficient for the Visa guys .I feel more reassured, now.
