the question describes a blistering disorer most likely pemphigus. hence i wud choose b. even if idont know what disease it is, i'd think that a, c, d have little to do with intercellular adhesions which r disrupted in a blistering disorder

B. this is pemphigus vulgaris, the problem is b/w desmosomes which are on the lateral sides of the epithelia ,connected normally by Intermediate filaments(Tonofilaments). See Kaplan Anatomy 1st chapter. NOTE: Pemphigus Vulgaris = desmosome-desomsome adherence problem(b/w 2 adjacant epithelia) , more severe Bullous Pemphigoid= desomsome-hemidesmosome adherence problem (b/w epithelia+ basement memb.), less severe
