An 18 month old girl was brought home from daycare and fell sick with profuse watery diarrhoea, low grade fever, malaise and listlessness. On the 3rd day, she collapsed at home and was rushed to the hospital for rehydration therapy. What is the most likely mechanism by which this bug acts to cause this common but serious diarrhoeal disorder?

A- Decreased number of brush border enzymes
B-Abnormal glucose coupled transport
C-Stimulation of soluble guanylate cyclase
D-Adherence to enterocytes thru pili causing microvilli damage
E-Decreased Disachridase activity causing blunting of microvillli
F-Stimulation of adenylate cyclase causing increase in Camp
