Hi all (esp bbb, apurva..), I'm an IMG, now in the US and cannot get any LORs. But I read programs in Freida and almost all of programs require at least 3 LORs. Can I apply to such programs? Do PDs ever read and accept any profiles that have no LORs?

you need at least 3 LORs, that's the minimum to apply to any program.

Thank Apurva, Chemarr, Another question: My letter writers cannot speak English (but can write), I'm worry if programs call them to verify. Do PDs call letter writer to verify and ask about applicants?

In 18 years of IM residency work, I haven't ever had to check on an LOR.
