Hey MT, KG and S!
No have not finished paper yet. Have been studying for USMLE. Seems like there are not enough hours in a day. I am trying to finish GI tdy. Have only done 300 questions on Qbank. Should have done more by now but need to do more now.
Am scoring in the 60s for now. I wish I could improve but it takes long to read all the answers for the questions. Paper is due on the 23rd so am putting it on the back burner for now.
So yea GI tdy. Wish me luck. I hope to do 100 questions tdy.
I have little time!

Hello there,
I had to go back to your posts, to see how are you doing and what is new with you. I see, exam in April ? You will do fine, just concentrate the best way you can, as I heard the last months before the exam are very important.... Yes, the reading the answers for the Q slows you down, but this is the part of the preparation and learning too, so don't despair.....you still have planty of time. Just use it right !

listen prep........ don't read the explainations of that 40 % u get wrong don't even see the ans. just open th ebook and read the entire topic abt that then try the q. again and see f u got it! if yes go read the explainations..Will be more time consuming better better in the long run!  GL.

Was doing alright on Qbank but just now did everything mixed! I did bad  I was doing well system wise but I think cause I have been studying system wise. Anyhow, my general princeples seem to be very very weak. Where do I study them from?

Its good to get anger and frustration out from yourself. That's why we are here, to listen..... You know, it's just fine you feel like that, it keeps you going forth. You still have time, use it right. Great you are doing mixed qs., just keep practicing them. You will get it, have a strong believe in yourself.

I think general principles you know like fluid dynamics, biochem etc. I have not reviewed that for a bit perhaps that is why scored low on it. Mainly I have decided to finish all the system wise questions first. I only have 11 more days to go on qbank and still have over 1600 questions.
So yes, will finsih system wise first and then work on GP. I know they are weak but it is better to study them later than now when I should be trying to finish questions.

Only two days left for Q bank to expire and I have only done 1300 questions. I think I am only going to finish the 322 left of the systems. I will leave general priniciples. Oh well. It's my own fault should have worked harder in the beginning of the month instead of leaving everything for last day.
My marks are all over the place. In some systems I am getting over 75% in others low 60s. Musculoskeletal is the worst. I even got 48% on it but that was cause most of the questions were on muscle insertions. Seriously who has time to remember that when I can't even remember all of path. No matter so tmr I shall finsih 322 left questions. General principles I have to take a chance on.
After tmr I will have one month and 10 days to go. In this one month, I have a family practise attachment where I will be working 9-5 for two weeks aaahh. So I don't know how I am going to try to get 6 hours in then but I will try very hard.
Any advise for last month people?

A month left wow! Time really flies! plz. start with stuff u didn't do so well in. Finish of within the week and then go through al the imp. big ones quickily. Keep on doing qs. if can that's the best Good luck! Will check on u more frequently. TC!

Hi Prep,
As MT said read weak one over. Then quick review all lect , Q , Rv books,FA , detail in my own post reply to you. With day work, do review few lecture notes kap, golj audio with his books. Q bnk, kap review it, then do some simulated on week end for whole day like real day. Check with NBME in 3 week, to see where you stand at. 1, 2 are easy, 3 ,4 more difficult , close to real one, as other said.Do not forget USMLE CD too.UW some said a must , MT & others might know more.Also do some Q in time in Q bnk to desensitzed the unnecessary stress in the big day.

what to say buddy mytime and shwe have already said it...juz one thing whn do questions pay more attention to concepts if u know logic behind u will do fine with any question u come across and KNOW FA COLD AS ALL SUGGETS....u will do fine...all teh best for family practice 9-5 dont worry well managed put hours will do wonders dont think have to sit for 6 hrs etc...dont worry and pray each day...

All the best, good luck.
For anxiety... listen to favorite songs with[ if cannot study all] or with out[ if can still study] ..sing along with it , it should be the songs in your langue when sing along with it or without sing along with, or good one with the your langue or langue you will have no idea at all while studying.
...also go out for a walk   to get fresh air, or... exercise   or stetch out   ... or pray,
meditate.. hmm, any thing more ... MT will able to fill in with smiley too. Go read MT & friends main thread & may be just look at the smiley to destress, save the reading [of the thread ] later after the exam.
... keep on studying, reviewing... without paying attention to the exam date , just do as you do study like before , like in weekly , monthly etc. tests in med junior yrs.
Have a good rest before the night & go for it.

hi prep good to see back and reporting in gal and more thing u can do is go and read girl intrupted's exam experience or other exam experiences u think would boost u up for last days and manage time efficiently...u ahve done everything just stay positive !u will be fine...!

Its over. I am not sure how I did. I hope I passed.
Not as scary as ppl profess. Once you start doing it. You just answer. Don't have time to think about it.
So yes no point in studying day before cause its your dominant response that is going to matter.
I didnt answer two questions in one block cause didn't realise till one min was left that I still have two left. I was too busy checking my answers so make sure you check that you have finished all answers.
