What disorders of the blood may cause renal disorders?

Anything that decreases EABV: CHF, portal HTN leading to ascites, hypovolemia, endotoxic shock...I suppose even diabetes insipidus could.

Actual blood problems would probably make you think sickle cell anemia, especially if the race fits. The medulla of the kidney is persistently hypoxic, and this causes the Hbs to sickle, in someone who just has sickle cell trait. So, when a 28-year old black woman comes in with microscopic hematura, the first test to order is a sickle-cell prep.

also Henoch schonlein( IgA nephropathy- Bergers), TTP(renal failure).
