43. An otherwise healthy 48-year-old woman comes to the physician because of a change in her menstrual pattern. Physical examination shows vaginal dryness. Laboratory evaluation is most likely to show which of the following changes in serum hormone concentrations? A. Decreased follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) B. Decreased serum prolactin C. Decreased serum thyroxine (T4) D. Increased FSH and LH E. Increased serum prolactin F. Increased serum T4 I'm rooting for A. Anybody want to join the band wagon?

its D. vaginal dryness is due to decreased estrogen (menopause). due to negative feedback, FSH & LH increase..
