Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows where to buy a malpractice insurance in USA? I am planning to do elective but since its not part of my medical course to do elective, my University wont be able to cover my elective in USA. Do you need malpractice insurance as well if you intend to do externship or observership?

you can do both of them (observership and externship) without any malpractice insurance.
if you are rich ($) and want to be on the safe side, you could buy a malpr insurance for the externship.
i don't know where to buy them, you could ask somebody in the US hospital where you'll do your elective.
