Vallia, very good on the score of beh  and hope you really enjoy doing Immuno now, it's so interesting to get to know all those points of immune activation and finally understand the Why's, I felt like a dummy everytime I got some concept, it was like making new synapsis and hurt a little jeje but dummy or not I will get it  well, hopefully  Have a good one my friend

for today I have to read chapters 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 from Immuno, that would be like 50 pages, and to read BS from FA. Starting now...

Hi there Vallia and all.Hope everyone is preparing well. I just have a q. Is it right read form FA even after studying from Kaplan. I mean wouldnt take more time to reread material form a different source. And If I should read it it from FA when do u recommend I do. After each subject from kaplan or after the 1st or 2nd read of everything thanx!

thanks guys, finished only 2 chapters so far, and I must go to pick up my son. Hope to be able to continue tonight.
Kickinit, yes I strongly recommend to read Fa after each subject, believe me after reading Kaplan Fa is a piece of cake , but is useful to put things together. also when you do questions see if you can find the answer in Fa , if not add it there. this way in the end the adnotated Fa will do good for review. good luck

Vallia, are you doing the tapes? videos? from kpln, I enjoyed a lot doing Immuno but it was a little tougher after chapter 5, but very rewarding at the end cause that's when the fun stuff starts. Do your daily questions to reinforce what you are reading, what sources do you have for mcq's?

just stay at it ..........for me i'm taking it as one page by one page , everytime i wann a get up , i just say ...........one more page .........trying to force myself , if i don't enjoy it , i force it .'coz i have to do it .
don't think about anything else , just u and the step ..........and the way will automatically open up for u .

Glad to say that I finished immunology and scored 72% in qbank. (seems I have some problem with MHC class 1 and 2, also with the Interleukins...).today i'll do one more reading of immuno from Fa and the immuno chapter from BRS.
Next target is histology and embriology. I always let the 2 for "later stuff". But I guess I have to read them finally. Good luck everybody.

Great going vallia.. I'm trying to catch up w/ you but it seems like Im all the way down the tail end. I still have a lot to work hard for just to attain 60% in my studies as of now. Im still down to 52% & it's bad....
Anyways my hope is still up just got to work harder & harder & harder...

you'll do great goodyear, don't bother with anyone else scores, it's only your score that really matter. I just pray to do the same in the real exam...now i'm getting to the worst stuff for me,anato, physio.

Vallia, good job about Immuno, you are very smart buddy, I can see that you are aiming for that 90..+ you are doing an excellent job. As for Anatomy, you know, everybody that took the exam suggests High Yield Series for Anatomy specially the embryo, histo and gross part, when my time comes for that subject I may use that, for Neuro i will stick to Kaplan. Keep it up Vallia, you rock!

thanks Musuq, I finished histology, did the qbank questions and scored 71% and found out that I don't have a clue about meiosis, mitosis, oocytes and spermatogonia...so I must read more at this topic. . i really pray that the scores correlates with what I know, but this is freshly review so I don't know. but i pray to God to take this exam and get the best score I can.
Tomorrow I'll read Fa histo and embriology. Never read properly this stuff cause i really hate it. pure memorisation here for me.

thanks keepgoing, did the qbank embryology ques and got 58%. Kinda low score , but I must admit, I can't learn it. . I made some notes of what I found to be high yield and will try to memorise those. also I don't feel like continuing with anatomy so I'll do microbiology the next 4 days.

Vallia, you are planning good, many friends who already pasts the test told me that Anatomy is not a high yield topic, expect for the part of Neuro which we have to nail and in Gross, maybe Upper and lower limbs, they say that we should focus mainly on those topics so your plan to study high yields for Anatomy is great, Keep it up buddy. hi, vallia, I also did bad in embryology 30%. I am doing mixed timed Qbank. average 66%. but my biostatitics17% and molecular biology 50%. I have no idea what I am going to do with those subjects. I am using Kaplan notes+Goljan's audio. I am feeling kaplan is not enough for embryology&molecular& other gross anatomy. do you have any idea? thanks in advance.
