If I had to read a 4-5 page personal statement for every applicant, I might actually look like the avatar of the character banging the head to bits. Stick with 1 to 1.5 pages.

i agree..keep it short and concise ...any write gets boring when its too long..

Think of "War and Peace" if your personal statement get's too long.
