have a query.....it was mentioned somewhere in here that fellowships r relatively easier on j1 as many programs do not sponsor h1 for fellowships.....well just wanted to know when do residents on j1 visa do their fellowship?...is it after the waiver?...pls pardon my ignorance!!!...thanks in advance

u can get a fship after residency and do waiver after fship

thanx apurva ji.....that means in the very likely case that an img on j1 doesnt get fship immediately after his/her residency, they will have to do waiver job as there wudnt be time left for completing fship due to the 2 yr home return clause....am i correct apurva?

if u dont get fship - u do waiver. then try for h1 for fship or get a gc then reapply..
