BUT the weird thing with mjl1717 is that he/she doesn't have any given name such as forum fanatic or moderator or forum elite or anything, i don't know why.

Hi,
The reason mjl1717 has no rank title is because he went out of the scale of ranks designed when the forums were started. I did not imagine that someone would post so many messages.
So the ranks were updated today and mjl1717 is now Forum Hero!
I am still working on a member importance forumula that will be used for ranking purposes. It will include for sure both number of posts and topics.
Of course, your ideas/comments about rank titles used on our forums are welcomed.

A new member rating formula will include total number of topics and posts and also total time online spent on the forum. Total topics have more weight than total posts. This formula will be used to calculate the score used for rankings.
