I have been a silent observer to this forum for a while and would like to say thanks and contribute my experience. I took the exam 6/27 and 6/28 after about two months of studying. I scored 98 on Step 1 and 90 on Step 2.
For study, I used Crush Step 3, First Aid for Step 3, Kaplan Step 2 CK notes and briefly read through parts of Harrisons and a few topics in Blueprints series.
For MCQs I used Kaplan qbank which I thought was pretty good and provided good practice for the questions on the exam. The questions on the real exam were more vague and difficult to answer than on Kaplan.
For CCS cases, I used First Aid for Step 3 which I thought was very helpful for the studying. Also I practiced the CCS cases on USMLESTEPS123 which provided some useful tips and pointers and I felt was very good practice.
The exam was not easy but it is doable. For MCQs, you will have to use common sense a lot as many questions can be narrowed down to 2 or 3 choices then you just have to make best guess. For CCS cases, if you know all the cases in First Aid and practice on the USMLE software, you should do well.

Thanks for sharing your experience, when study CCS, can you practice the UW CCS cases in the www.usmlesteps123.com? Do you think that the usmlesteps123.com cases are as good as UW?

I don't think you can practice UW CCS cases on usmlesteps123 because their software is designed for training, it is not open like the USMLE software. You can practice UW cases on the USMLE real software which will probably be better practice. I liked First Aid better than UW because it was quicker and easier to go through. I liked usmlesteps123 because it gave you strategies of when to order what and exactly how to manage cases using the software. But Usmlesteps123 only has 40 cases, so I would use them for practice but it's better to study with First Aid or UW to get exposure to more cases. If you know the cases in these resources then the CCS part should not be a problem. I also checked out the sample cases on passfirst and did not like them at all. I thought their feedback was kind of poor even though the software was pretty good. Good Luck
