maverick Surgery Resident Topics: 146 Posts: 553	09/24/06 - 10:23 PM             #123 TO QUELL SOME WORRIES AND FRAYED NERVES AND TENSIONS FROM SHARVIL: i knew that i was to do surgery in the states so decided to spare no efforts on my end. my step 1 was 263/99 and my step ck was 268/99 i had no USCE nor any USLORs i had started research, but unfortunately could not have any publications. when i applied i had step 1, ck and cs and certificate in hand. I had applied on 27 october to 100 programs since i had not idea of FMG friendly surgery programs, i was late in applications, i think if i had applied earlier on 1 sept ( i had all my scores on 20 august) i would have got more interviews.....I had applied to both prelim and categorical, P and C at all programs. i have not yet taken step 3. I have a Green card which solved a lot of programs.
