Hi guys, I'm an IMG from India, currently in a PhD program in the US. 99/99/CS passed/NoUSCE/1 publication. So far, no good news, lotsa bad news. 40 apps, all university, 4 declined (UTMB Galveston, Toledo, Med Col Georgia, U Miss). U Tennessee Memphis sent me an email that says "we'll consider you if a spot is available".....something like that. Dont know if I shud consider that as wait-listed. Unlike other programs, they did not "wish me luck in the future" so I'm thinking maybe its still possible. Anybody heard from u Rochester? I called up y'day and they said that all invitations had been sent by regular mail....didn't say when, but that if I dont receive one, then I'm not considered (obviously, DUH......). Guess the next two weeks shud be fun. Best wishes to everyone!

Yes, i clicked both And thats whats driving me mad. I've almost given up and started thinking about how to strengthen my app for next year. BTW, any repeat applicants this year? Hows it going compared to last year? What did you do (or not do) to increase your chances?

all universities is suicidal dude. apply to some realistic programs in addition. 99/99 is very common for surg. doesnt impress PDs any more

Hello there. Count me in. IMG 6 years after grad - applied 90 places - all prelims - 2 "offers" - nassau (numc) and easton (Pa). 89/90. This is a second match for me - feels less promising somehow. Good luck to everybody.
