I checked both H1b and J1 in my CAF, after an hour since it was upladed, my application was already downloaded by metropolitan health and they sent me an e-mail informing me that they don't accept H1b visa, and my application will be on hold until i inform them that i'm willing to opt for a J1 instead, so immediately replied and said yes I do.
dunno if choosing both was a good thing, but i think having 2 visa options gives you more flexibility.

no rejections and offers for me also, all i got was an e-mail from MSU telling me that they will be reiewing my application and they'll contact me soon if granted an interview.....well i'm keeping fingers crossed!

hey felllow surgery applicants, just want y'all to know i got my first rejection today - bronx-lebanon in NY. Not one of my choices but i still threw in an application there. oh well, the game continues though.

does it/is it affecting acceptance/rejection or one's chances that programs are downloading application with everything uploaded but the usmle transcript?
