hi! i am rather confused about which year to write. i have graduated in 2001 but as degree is given only after internship i got my degree in Jan 2003. My transcript says that i passed in 2001 but they ask for year and month of degree in ERAS. Will I be considered a 2001 or a 2003 grad? it really means a lot of diff as 2001 is out of the golden 5 yr period in which we can apply for good residency progs..please advise.

I'll fnish my final exams on this year end, my graduation date written in my certificate will B 11/2006, not necessery to do internship, but U won't take ur certificate before the estimated time of internship end, on 2/2008, which date will I apply with?

I filled the degree year as 2002 for my getting my ERAS ID. But I got the degree in 2004. Can I correct that mistake in CAF or would that be an irregularity?

The year of graduation, if your medical school has a 1 year compulsary internship, i believe MBBS does, is the YEAR OF DEGREE ISSUE. NOT when Final exams were taken. Therefore the date is after internship completion.

Ladydoc correct your mistake, because year of graduation is important, your application appears two years older than it should, which harm you.
