i know its kinda lame question but it means a lot to me. the way to know if a program offers prematch is to subtract the nrmp seats from the freida seats.

but does anyone have last yrs nrmp seat qouta or a link to where it might still be posted on the nrmp database?

katzung, bbb?

muchas gracias amigos

after the match nrmp offers a list of unfilled seats,in that you can know exactly how many positions had gone into match and how many didnot.

but even before match when the rol deadline comes (it is earlier for programmes than students) you can actually see how many positions are being offerd via match, and rank the programmes accordingly, this is how i found out about michael reese going into match with ''0''/''zero'' positions.
for example Lankenau went into match with ''5''/''five'' positions this year.

hope this helps.

well there r two columns in that list first one is number of positions which went into the match and second column is no of positions filleed up in nrmp.
even before match you can find out on nrmp regarding how many positions are available for match.

I think if you google unfilled program, you can get the list. then subtract the nrmp quota from frieda position. you will see interseting results!

I know this is not absolutely complete, but it really works for application to right places to find a slot.

the thing is last yr nrmp had put up the list on its site stating how many positions each program took to match. this yr they have removed it from the website and instead ask u2 buy a nrmp data book with those tables for 150$!! as if 25$ per shot at a program didnt hurt muchsad
