I plan to apply to Psychiatry programs this yr. I have 3 LORs, two from US attendings and one from my medical school in Pakistan. The ones from US are pretty good, but I received a VERY strong recommendation letter from the Chairman of the Psychiatry dept at my home school. I have a few questions: Would my USLORs still hold more weight than the one from school, even though he is the Head of the department? Does the order in which you assign letters on ERAS make any difference when programs are viewing your letters? For example, if a program requires only two recommendation letters and you send in 3, will they just look at the first two and disregard the third? And if the order does make a difference, would it be better to list the USLORs first or the foreign LOR, since it is a lot stronger than the US ones? Would appreciate any responses!
