DNA is a double-stranded molecule. Is it known which strand is used as a template for mRNA synthesis?

THE DNA which has actual info for the protein is called coding strand .. other which is complementay to coding strand is called template strand and used for transcriptionss.. If Q come without menting of whether it is conding strand or template then assume that it is CODING STRAND.. GL

to add more coding strand is also called anti template strand
