pallav, 28 days is a lot of time...believe me ur capacity to work and retain stuff increass EXPONENTIALLY before an exam...there is one catch though...dont let ur nerves rule u...here's what i did when faced with what i call paralyzing tension'...i kept a 3 day study period where i planned to do topics at random which i tot i didnt know..and loads of questions (didnt count).. the point was to study continuously and try to beat the time factor...if that duznt work out for u, y dont u try posting ur difficulties on the forum....u cud go thru the threads me, robins, tolito.. created before the exam coz we did a LOT of revision...i remember tolito posted this link for neuro qs for u ...go and do those...BUT DONT WASTE TIME...and with a little luck and loads of prayers u'll snap out of this anxiety phase...good luck...and believe me everyone goes thru the ' what- the-hell- hav- i been-doing-phase'... in retrospect u'll get the answer...a lot

well pallav u shudnt skip neuroanat at all...its higly tested and has clinical implications too..infact its one of those overlap stuff for step 1 and 2 so ull have to stud it for ck any how...might as well do it now and make both exams easier.. here's the link u require http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/comments.php?id=3... <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I agree NEUROANAT is tested regularly and I had at least 2 questions in each block. Thats 14 easy questions to answer. And usually they do not go into pathways. Its most plain antomical identification and cranial nerves. NEUROANATOMY DO THIS: Cranial nerves (pit pat) - functions, where they enter exit, deficits; Hematomas (all types-symptoms), Visual system (Hemianopias, various pupils like Marcus gunn and Argyll Rob); Spinal cord injuries (Vit B12, Ant spinal Cord syndrome, ALS, Signs of UMN and LMN)....THATS IT......its just one day of work and I am sure you will cover 90% of what will be asked on the exam.
