92/228 Just wanna tell you what mistakes I did during my preparation. If I had the opportunity to take step 1 one more time, I wouldnt do these mistakes. Hope you learn from my mistakes and don't repeat them! Here they are: 1. I underestimated FA and just picked it up 4 days before exam and did 30-40% of it. MY BIGGEST MISTAKE. 2. I did not do enough Qs so I did not pace myself before the exam. I only did 1500 Qs of Qbank and never review the explanations one more time! and some NBMES that were posted in the forum. That's it!! My very big mistake. You MUST pace yourself adequetly. 3. Do not extend your preparation period. when you study intensively in a short period then you will have more integrated materials in your mind and also will forget less. Good luck to everyone in the forum and please listen to the people who have already taken the exam and learn from their mistakes.I learnt a lot from all the collagues in this forum and I will miss it for sure. I must especially thank robin who has always been a great help and I learnt from him a lot. Thanks to Drvirgo, pearljam and cedrik for posting Qs and give the chance of disscussion to others.

Congratulation Nadia.. you have got a competitive score.... and as you said with short solving Q you have achieved a good score.. dont worry Step 1 score are not important you can get 99 in step 2.. wish you best of luck for future...

my exam is within 19 days.. I am feeling scared dont know what will happened..

Do you also feel like that as near the exam its seem that I have no knowledge and need more and more revision... ??

I have listened Guljan once about 4 month ago and never listen again .. Should I devote 2 days to listen him again ?? any suggestion...........

star 1, I never tried Goljan so I have no idea about his lectures either. I didn't read kaplans either. I couldn't even finish my second reading! Revision of some of the organs and also pharma remained!!! My weak points were in pharma, renal and cardio. I got excellent performance in nervous system, BS, biochem, cell bio, immuno and micro....I wish I could have revised phrma,renal and cardio!!!

About the materials that I studied:

1. HY for anatomy, neuroanatomy, histo, cell biology

2. BRS for physiology, pathology and BS

3. Lehninger biochemistry, Gelehrter Genetics, Abbas immunology, Levinson microbiology

Good score, congratulations Nadia.

Now we continue to discuss step 2 CK, which I will take it in Dec 06.

And also step 2 CS, which I wll take it in Nov.
