I have seen that some programs are combined. IM/emergency medecine for exemple. If one gets to it, can he choose to work in an ER or continue a fellowship in gastro?

firstly all combo progs are amg dominated secondly rarely will give u gastro fship if u have done a combined residency.. but technically speakin yes u can do er only or go onto gastro

hello guys can you pls tell me where to find the form 186 Also my Dean's letter does not contain when my diploma will be issued b/c the dean does not know specifically,what will happen?

my personal opinion is that those progs are pure gold for imgs but impossible to get into. also id rather be a master of 1 trade than a jack of all. think of it - u can spend ur entire life in im and not know it all. ppl do fships in a small specific field and yet may feel ignorant at times. thats why i really am not a fan of combo progs or fp. no offence to any1.. apurva
