hhey.... congratulations dragon fly, u have done a gr8 job, and i am really thank full to u for shsring ur experience with us.
i have studied patho from kaplan, but i see people recommend to use brs and goljan for patho, but now its hard for me to study the new material again, as i am planning to take my exam in oct, and i still have bio and pharmo to cover, can u help me with ur suggestions plz.

Well i didn`t mean to imply that Kaplan is bad. i just said since i didn`t read it, i don`t know it. i think too, that it`s better to revise your material and practice questions.

one question, i msome how can never start micro and immuno ,its 4 sure that i m very bad in it, can u advice ,abook or a way to do it. i have kaplan and kaplan only. i dunt have my jawetz though. whta shd i do, ill be thankful.

Robin : i apologize for my mistake .(although i corrected it but it was too late !) you're so brilliant, for a second there, i thought you have got your result we are keeping our fingers crossed for your good news

well as i said before, i just did some parts of Kaplan micro. mainly the General micro, Fungi and final summary chapters : charts, comparative,etc. those parts were just great. i don't know about the other parts. it should be more than enough. if the other chapters are as good as these.
as far as a good book for micro, if you have the time to start another one, and if you really want to absorb micro, go for "Microbiology made rediculously simple". it is an excellent book. it explains things in a great manner. BUT i think you need to come back to Kaplan after you read it. b/c it lacks some parts. it sometimes gets too shallow but it builds up your foundation in micro.
but if you don't have time, just stick with the Kaplan.
