are there any requirements regarding licensure or any other rules and regulations prior to applying to programs in illinois....i read on this forum , someone had mentioned about cme requirements? what that?

call illlinois board for specifics.. also 4 weeks psychi..

Are there any other states besides CA & illinois who ask for 4 weeks of psych???

yes you need to have certain cme credits if you have not been in clinical field for illinois board.

Check in the website to be sure.

if you have been doing something else other than being in training as a doctor.or in otherwords u have been doing something else other than being in active clinical practice.

I didnt find anything like you said in their licensure requrements on their website.Only if there is more than 2 yr gap between graduation and application of licensure you have to give some proof of clinical continuity.
