a previously healthy 6 y/o boy is brought to the physician for a follow up examination after a PPD skin test produced an induration greater than 15mm. he has had no cough or fever. He has a good appetite and is at the 15th percentile for height and weigh. he appars well. his temperature is 37.2, pulse: 88, and respirations: 18. the lunga are clear to auscultation.

a)administration of BCG vaccine
b) administration of an inhaled bronchodilator
c)administration of oxygen
d) arterial blood gas analisys
e) bronchoscop
f) culture of the pharinx for bacteria
g) direct laringoscopy
h) gastric washngs for acid-fast bacteriae
i) intravenous infusion of saline.
j) isoniazid and rifampin therapy
k) lumbar puncture
l) measurement of serum aspirin level
m) subcutaneous administration of apinephrine
n) viral culture of respiratory secretions
o) x-ray films of the chest
p) x-ray films of the neck

the next routine diagnostic procedure is x ray chest but without any clinical features .... i am not sure

Chest Xrays..
You have to be sure the patient doesnt have an active tb before start treating with 9 months of INH...
