reddened friable os point towards cervicitis......but cant really rule out a threatened abortion, confused.
or is it gestational trophoblastic disease -painless bleeding,as both cervicitis & threatened abortion r associated with some degree of pain

  #3

Is cervicitis painless
Is threatened abortion pain less?

  #4

nope both r painful conditions....

  #5

painless bleeding is the tricky part here.......
i was contemplating the options.
choriocarcinoma can present with profuse bleeding....nothing mentioned regarding parity of pt here.
all the other options have associated pain...
plz correct me if what i think is wrong

  #6

Is cervicitis painfull. diffrentiate cervicitis and pid is cervical motion tenderness.
Is threatened abortion pain less?
gestational trophoblastic disease is my doubt

  #7

threatened abortion(painful/painless bleeding)

  #8

the problem with threatened abortion is that in the question they do not tell us that there is still a viable gestation. (I need this for diangnosis).

And if they donīt write it down: It never happened...

  #9

i think it is cervicitis

why ,there is reddened friable cervicalos in all other cases like abortions?

  #10
