I am a IMG, M.D; Ph.D.13 yrs after graduation. Finished residency and fellowship in foreign country. Nine years' working experience in foreign countries. Led a group and Have performed more than a thousand operations in general surgery. Four years research experience at Department of Surgery in a top American University (However, NO USCE). Can get two LORs from Amrican Doctors and one from foreign country. USMLE step1/2 scores 87/82. Can anybody tell me the chance for general surgery residency? Thans in advance.

where are you from cuijian?? just curious.. your CV as a surgeon is excellent. There was a topic in the forum of the last match where they (applicants to surgery) wrote their credentials and curriculum and then they said if they matched or not and in which hospital, that was very informative and would be helpful for you (and me; i saw it but that was a long time ago and i don't remember well the info). I've been looking for that topic but i can't find it, it seems to be that they erased it.

thats sad if they erased such a gr8 thread, maybe we all search it more diligently
