Hi guys ,
I am really so blessed by this forum.It makes me feel i am not really going crazy like I sometimes feel.I am an old old IMG with a family and 2 lovely kids....Its been hard,,getting this going failed twice and almost lost hope.
Have faced a lot of discouragemnt ,financial pressure,family pressure,health problems myself with hemorroids dental root abcess,anxiety,my kids with asthma,husband with job and personal issues.Got a babysitter who I found doing online porn ,leaving my kids in the car while she goes shopping etc..lazy dirty...I just had to kick her out.Now we have to move to another state I am bunking with my brother and his family...They kindly offered me a place to stay while we get ourselves together.,My aunt had a bad stroke..what else all my friends have given up on me.
sometimes I think I just can't make it but with God and this forum I will give it my best shot.
Started 1st aid with a friend and I am intending to take kaplan live lectures in October hope to sit for exam in Dec.
Ggone through a quick first glance at Kaplan can't remember most stuff but I am beginning a slower more determined read nowi
I really need some structure and I am borrowing a lot of hope and enthusiasm from this forum.
I will try and keep a daily or at least every other day journal here.
Today I read FA Bs must finish tonight
Want to start FA BCH next and do Q book Q on both subjects as many as I can at least 2 blocks each by Wednesday
Lets see how I do.

my friend you have already succeeded by attempting to start ur prep for USMLE step 1. . i am glad there are people like you.We learn more from our failures then from our successes......
you know u are an inspiration!!! its time u show this exam WHO IS THE BOSS . i am sure you will succeed......its not about achieving success.,...all the time.......its about the fact that even though we fall down while running.....but DO all of us have the same courage to get up and keep struggling............its just a few who have this strength..... i am GLAD you have!
i am sure your family must be proud of you....because as i said.....its not abt success alll the time............wise people learn more from their failures...!!!

when u can perform a miracle of giving birth to a baby.....
USMLE STEP 1 stands no chance against you friend
so have faith and continue struggling........
successs is just around the corner......its just a few pbstacles which might bother u a bit but as i said.......... YOU ARE A MOM.....when YOU performed two miracles...
this is just an EXAM
have funnnn!!!!

THANKS GUYS, My strength is increased by your word of encouragement .I know by God's grace we will make it through.
Today I am going to finish the BS from Kaplan and FA and do 50 q in Q book
I'll let u know how it goes

U sound like u are sailing the same boat as I have been for the past couple of years.There's just one thing I had like to add to all that's already been said to u.It's about u now....so every morning look into the mirror and say it's mytime and I'm going to make it.It'll continue to be rough ride but if u start believing u will.Good Luck........buddy.

Thats right my time It is OUR TIME to SHINE and by God's grace we will get beyond this.
Took a detour yesterday and did some BCH it was very stimulating .I discussed online with a friend I will continue theFA BCH alongside my BS .
Still yet to do the Q .Its my daughters 7 th birthday today.I will do as much as i can b/4 they come back from camp.
Thanks guys we are all together in this and WE SHALL OVERCOME.ALUTA CONTINUA VICTORIE ASSERTA!!!
The struggle continues but victory is certain.

i really appreciated comments on one single day from two mom's not just ANYONE but from TWO MOMS.. i know if these two busy people took out time to write to me i might be really lucky. coz two docs studying hard, and that tooo TWO doc moms...have taken time to advise and encourage me

thanks smarty,mytime and khorshid,
I wish you all the best as u prep.Yeah this weekend was kind of blah for me.We had to deal with a few documents and also take my daughter out for her birthday .Plus today I just felt tired....you know sometimes I just feel tired.Can't put my finger on it but I need strength both physical and emotional to get past this battle line.Well I will keep on .i must NOT sleep without doing something tonight
Wish evryone progress and enthusiasm as they study.By God;s grace I will get there.

Hey Sharon99 how are u doing,woman?Did ur daughter ahve afun time on her day..how old is she.....If u are tired be sure to get some rest 'coz else u won't be very productive that day and next. anyway...let us know ur progress .....i started studying with physiology and am still there.....
How much Have u already done..Have u set a date for ur exam...what all are u reading...Where do u live?I live in houston.Strength to u ...n all.

Hi my time,
My kid had a swell time at Chucke cheeses.I am doing finre took a break to do some packing and cooking lots of food to store in the freezer.Everyone will have to make do with food that will be warmed up when they need it.
I am feeling much stronger though and as i type my intention is to go for a short walk and then sit down to study my BCH.I've found that excercise helps me a lot.I was a little saddened by the result of a friend who just failed step 2 but I encouraged him to dust dust himself up and hit the books which we should all do .I hope i hear myself loud and clear.
I have to readjust my schedule again.Not to worry .I'll get there by God's grace,
I am in the process of moving from Maryland to New Jersey( ..so I am here in MD till Thursday)

More strength to us all!!
