i failed csa..found out just now... i have 25 interviews...15 of them from university programs... my scores 99/99.... what are my chances of getting all the same interviews next year again...including the cleveland clinic ohio... cuz i wont be able to take step-2 cs until june and so i wont be eligible for even postmatch this year... is there any hope for me next year...do pds overlook applications with second attewmpt in csa... also i m doing observership right now... is research better then observership to improve chances of residency at a good university hospital.. please advice...i m full of despair...never failed any exam in my entire life...always a topper in class right from kg to med school... the f***ing shattered all my dreams...ruined my life...don't know what to do.. also financial trouble...could you suggest whether working as physician assisstant helsp improving credentials... kindly advice me...i m a hopeless soul... thnx in advance...

With your scores you should be the most hopeful sole, some programs can still offer you position late june, if you needed cleveland or another top institute your chances are wtill great next year, teaching at a community college, research or working as a physician assistant, even a clinical observership are all great ideas, just do not have gaps in your CV, my scores were 77, 80 and not even first attempt but am still hoping for the best, my advice that you take the kaplan 5 day course in rutherford-NJ next time.
