can anyone explain wat happens to metabolic clearance of steroids,steroid receptors and steroid uptske mechanisms in pregnancy

the powers that be probably wont make a big deal about that, but Id say know the mech of action of steroids down to the molecular level and know how to dissect the adrenal gland.

i think although the steroid synthesis is increased there is not much effect bcos of increased protein synthesis and hence the net effect on the body does not change. (free steroid levels remain same)
