5yr old girl is brought to the phyciscian 30mis after being bitten on the forearm by her cat.Exam shows a small puncture wound covered with dried blood.she is at increased risk for infection for which of the ff reasons? a. arm wounds are more susceptible to infection. b.salivary enzymes in the cats augument infection c.it is difficult to cleans patogens from the wound. d. the staphy species invloved is particlarly virulent. e.Yound chiren are less able to resist infection than adults.

Agree on that... Cats particularly have very sharp teeth making very deep wounds that can spread bugs directly to the periosteum...
