Hi just cleared my CK (1st attempt) with a score of 225/91. This by no means erases my past....
Step 1 cleared in 2nd attempt with a score of 189/76 . CS cleared last year 1st attempt.
I am an old graduate more then 11 years. No work history except for some current observerships.
Will be able to get some LOR's. Am a US Citizen. Want to try 2007 match. Will start studing for step3 asap after completion of the required application paperwork for match.
Please bbb and others help me choose the right direction in terms of specialities and programs, want to apply where there are Any chances for people like me. I live in Nebraska. Right now I feel hopeless!!

FM and psychiatry are the easiest you can shoot for...not to say that IM or others are impossible - but only much harder to get..

Your average is OK Observerships never hurt, get letters, contact colleagues, network The medical world is so small!!! everybody knows everybody Have you done research or volunteer your time (for anything)? In which specialty you see yourself medical or surgical? Check California postings, check out NYC What about Nebraska?
