What is the difference between coma and unconciousness??
is coma juz a more serious form of unconciousness??

coma - type of uncounciousness from which patient can't be woken up even by the strongest stimuli
There are different types of conciousness disorders, from confusion, somnolence and letargy, to stupor and coma.

As far as i remember, Coma is specifically defined as problems with the RAS (reticular activating system) in the brain.

just from what i remember from Neuro...correct me if i'm wrong plz =)
