Hi guys , I waited for my friends exam to be over bfore I posted this. I have scored high, as usual it was a systematic preparation which helped me the maximum.

Hi Shumaila, check my blog I have posted the topics in step 1 which are being often repeated in step 2 ck.
I think 1 day is enough to cover all these topics.
Some people have had as much as 20 percent of questions from step 1 topic. You can never be sure what is going to happen on your day !!

Hi, I just wanted to know the lowest score that you have heard some one scoring. Please give me the percentile as well as the 3 digit score.
I want to collect some data on this front too.
We already know how high the scores can go
PS: What according to your personal opinion was your estimate of correct answers and what was your final score ?
As for myself, having written plenty of entrance exams successfully, my estimate for usmle is if you get 70 percent right -- u will have a 95 ++ score.

i really feel like a loser wen i c all these people wid 99's
i had an 80 score on my step 1
i am even nowhere near to all these people
hav my step 2 in few days

Hi, first of change your name, if you are scoring 60 on usmle world, you will get 90 + on the real board, i can tell you score is only one of the things they look at.
Second thing the more stressed you are the worse your exam will be over, so take a deep breath and go for the exam with a cool head, u will do well

i agree...there is enuff of stress withthe usmle as it is and u chose a pesimistic name to describe ursel...and i just read a post in residency world where they got a 78% in step 1 but a 99 in step 2...
it aint a horrible score to begin with..

Nice blog royalgeorge... I agree with everybody  , respect!!! and thank you for taking the time. Your info is very useful on the Step 1 stuff also, now that I see it in retrospect. Shame that I didn't find it before I took that exam.
