what is alexia without agraphia ,which artery is affected ?

  #2

the patient has the ability to understand what you are saying to him, though he is unable to speak (alexia) plus he has the ability to answer to your questions or demands in written (alexia without agraphia)
it usually appears in thrombosis of middle cerebral artery

  #3

If the patient is right handed I think we could suspect the right middle cerebral artery.

Alexia without agraphia is the unability to read with preserved writting. Usually alexia and agraphia goes together in the damage of the left posterior parietal region. May be alexia without agraphia coul be seen in the problem in RMCA?
